Breath of life
Almighty God, you alone gave us the breath of life, and you alone can keep alive in us the holy longings you give us. Because you’re kind, please make all our thoughts and efforts holy, so that we never start anything without a pure motive, or carry on with it without your blessing. Open the eyes of our minds to see the things that can’t be seen. Fill our hearts with your wisdom, hold us up in our work with your strength, and in the end welcome us as your faithful servants. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
