Morning prayer · 10 January

Show me the way

A single signpost in an open field at sunrise, its arrow pointing toward the light, suggesting guidance sought at the start of the day, with the words “show me the way” lettered by hand.

Lord, let me hear about your loving kindness early this morning, because I trust in you. Show me the way I should walk today, and all the days of my life, because I lift up my soul to you, trusting in the mercy of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Let me hear Your loving devotion in the morning, for I have put my trust in You. Teach me the way I should walk, for to You I lift up my soul.

Psalm 143:8 (BSB)
