No clouds can hide

The sun sits fixed and bright above a thin scattering of clouds, its rays passing straight through the gaps undimmed, showing the light was never really hidden, with the words “no clouds can hide the light” lettered by hand.

Most loving Father, you want us to give thanks for everything, to fear nothing except losing you, and to throw all our worries on you, because you care for us. Keep us from fears that forget to trust, and from the worries of this world. Don’t let any clouds of this short life hide from us the light of your love, which never dies, and which you’ve shown us in your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.
