Glad and free

A cat stretching lazily and fully in a wide patch of morning sunlight on the floor, utterly without hurry or burden.

My God, I can’t see any reason why I shouldn’t go through this day, from morning to night, glad and free. Because if you are what my soul believes you are, there’s no burden that shouldn’t sit lightly on me, and no duty that shouldn’t be a joy deep in my heart. Your will is perfect love, so it can’t be harsh, and it can’t be small. You are light, and in you there is no darkness at all. Amen.

And this is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you: God is light, and in Him there is no darkness at all.
