Morning prayer · 16 April

Hold on to you

A small ivy vine wrapped firmly around a tall wooden post, holding steady even as wind bends its leaves sideways.

Lord, it’s good for us to hold on to you. So make our longing for what’s good grow stronger, so that the hope that joins us to you won’t be shaken when our faith wavers, but will last, steady in love. Amen.

But as for me, it is good to draw near to God. I have made the Lord GOD my refuge, that I may proclaim all Your works.

Psalm 73:28 (BSB)
