Walking in your presence

A single footprint walking across a sunlit floor, with the light itself shaped like it's watching from every corner of the room.

Lord God, you have no beginning and no end, and you fill everything. You’re everywhere: in heaven in glory, in holy places by your kindness, in your people’s hearts by your Spirit, and in every conscience, watching over us. Teach me to live every moment as someone in your presence. Help me stand in awe of you and respect your wisdom, which sees everything. Keep me from ever doing anything shameful before you, my Lord and my Judge. Help me live so carefully that my Judge is not my accuser but the one who speaks up for me. And as I show by how I live that I believe you’re here, let me share in your glory forever. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

“Can a man hide in secret places where I cannot see him?” declares the LORD. “Do I not fill the heavens and the earth?” declares the LORD.
