Good things prepared

A small child stands on tiptoe reaching up toward a high shelf stacked with wrapped gifts far taller than the small table gift already offered to them, showing the vast difference between what's wanted and what's prepared beyond imagining.

God, for those who love you, you’ve prepared good things beyond anything we can understand. Pour such love for you into our hearts that, loving you more than anything, we may receive what you’ve promised, which is more than all we could ever want. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Rather, as it is written: “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no heart has imagined, what God has prepared for those who love Him.”

1 Corinthians 2:9 (BSB)
