Morning prayer · 4 August

You never change

An old gnarled oak tree stands solid through four small seasonal panels of weather around it (snow, bloom, wind, sun), its trunk and roots never shifting while everything else changes.

Lord, be here with us as we pray, and protect us by day and by night. Through all the changing times, let us always be made strong by knowing that you never change. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

But You remain the same, and Your years will never end.

Psalm 102:27 (BSB)
