Morning prayer · 26 December
Without stumbling

Lord, let our prayer come to you in the morning. You took on our weak human nature, with all its suffering. Help us to spend this day in gladness and peace, without stumbling and without stain, so that we reach the evening untouched by temptation, and praise you, the eternal King. We ask in your mercy, our God, who are blessed, and live and rule over all things forever. Amen.
Satisfy us in the morning with Your loving devotion, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days.
