A heart to be spent

A coin purse turned upside down with its last few coins spilling out freely onto the table, nothing held back.

Lord, give us a mind after your own heart, so we love to do what you want, our God. Write your law on our hearts. Give us courage and determination to do what we should, and a heart ready to be spent serving you, doing all the good we possibly can in the few days we have left on our journey here on earth. We ask this for the sake of Jesus Christ, your Son. Amen.

I delight to do Your will, O my God; Your law is within my heart.”

Psalm 40:8 (BSB)
