Morning prayer · 5 February
Rest sweetly in you

Sweet Jesus, pierce me to the core of my soul with the healing arrows of your love, so that it truly burns and melts and aches with longing for you alone, and longs to be set free and be with you. Let my soul hunger only for the bread of life. Let it thirst for you, the spring and fountain of eternal light, the stream of true delight. Let it always want you, look for you and find you, and rest sweetly in you. Amen.
Jesus answered, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to Me will never hunger, and whoever believes in Me will never thirst.
