Perfect freedom

A tortoise walking calmly out of its own shell, which stands empty behind it like an abandoned fortress, showing freedom found in letting go of armor.

God, you’re the source of peace, and you love it when people get along. Knowing you is eternal life, and serving you is perfect freedom. Protect us, your humble servants, whenever our enemies attack, so that, trusting completely in your protection, we won’t fear the power of anyone against us, through the strength of Jesus Christ. Amen.

You will keep in perfect peace the steadfast of mind, because he trusts in You.
