Trust the unseen God

Almighty God, when our sight fails and our understanding grows dark, when life’s road seems hard and life’s brightness is gone, give us the wisdom that deepens faith when we can’t see clearly, and grows trust when we can’t understand. Whenever your ways are hard to understand, may our quiet confidence, patient trust and loving faith in you be great. Like children who know they’re loved, cared for, guarded and kept, may we always trust you, the God we can’t see, with quiet minds. So may we face life without fear and death without fainting. And whatever the life to come holds, give us confident hope that whatever is best for us, now and forever, is what pleases you and will be your law. Amen.
For we walk by faith, not by sight.
