Morning prayer · 22 March

Each day and night

A sundial in a garden, its shadow marked at both morning and evening hours, showing one steady day turning from light to dark.

God, each day may I speak by your justice. Each day may I show what your correction has taught me. Each day may I speak by your wisdom, and each day and night be at peace with you. Each day may I count the reasons for your mercy. Each day may I pay attention to your laws. Each day may I make you a song and play your praise. Jesus, each day may I give you my love, and each night the same. Each day and night, in dark and light, may I praise your goodness to me, God. Amen.

Every day I will bless You, and I will praise Your name forever and ever.
