Morning prayer · 8 May

Back in your kind arms

A single lost lamb standing in tall grass turns and finds a pair of large, gentle arms already open to carry it home, with the words “bring us back in your kind arms” lettered by hand.

God, you are the source of perfect happiness. You teach your faithful people to walk in your ways, to search out what you’ve told us, and to keep your commands. Please make us right with you, so that we seek you with our whole hearts. Until now we’ve wandered like lost sheep. Bring us back in your kind arms, so that we can rejoice in the glories of paradise. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Blessed are those who keep His testimonies and seek Him with all their heart.
