The track of faith

A small mole emerges blinking from its tunnel onto a path, unable to see the traps ahead, but a line of sunlight marks a safe line forward just in front of its paws.

Lord, you are the one who rescues us; be our protection too. Lead our minds by your kind presence, and watch over our paths with guiding love. Hidden traps lie along the path we walk, so help us keep moving forward with our hearts fixed on you, so that by following the track of faith we arrive where you want us to be. Amen.

Although my spirit grows faint within me, You know my way. Along the path I travel they have hidden a snare for me.

Psalm 142:3 (BSB)
