Every task made holy

An ordinary stone is laid at the start of a path and begins glowing faintly gold, as if the simple act of starting the day's work has set it apart as holy.

Our Father, may your Holy Spirit stay with us today, and may we feel his presence and his influence. May every week be like one long day of rest with you, holy all the way through, with no break. May every task we do be made holy. We ask for the sake of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely, and may your entire spirit, soul, and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
