The one living way

A single signpost at a crossroads shows many worn paths branching off into the undergrowth, but one path is freshly swept clean and clear, leading straight ahead, with the words “the one living way” lettered by hand.

Lord, stay close to us always. Teach us to come to you by the one living way, your Son Jesus Christ. Keep us humble and gentle, ready to put ourselves last, firm and patient, active, and wise to know your will and to see what’s true, so that we become more like you and like Jesus. Lord, forgive us all our sins. Save us, guide us, and make us strong. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, by the new and living way opened for us through the curtain of His body,
