Our daily need

A small blindfolded figure is gently guided by a hand resting lightly on their shoulder from behind, walking toward an unseen path, trusting without seeing the way themselves.

Almighty God, on our journey through this world we need your Spirit to teach and guide us every day. Help us depend humbly on your word and on your Spirit’s quiet prompting, and not take too much on ourselves. Help us see how little we know, how blind and foolish we are, and always run to you. Never let us be drawn off course by the tricks of Satan or of people who reject you. Keep us so firm in your truth that we never turn away from it, while you guide us through the whole course of our calling. And then bring us to the glory of heaven, which your only Son won for us by his blood. Amen.

However, when the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all truth. For He will not speak on His own, but He will speak what He hears, and He will declare to you what is to come.
