Ordered and sure

A compass with a steady needle resting on a map of unknown, unmarked roads, pointing true despite no paths drawn, with the words “ordered and sure” lettered by hand.

God, we don’t know what’s ahead of us, whether we’ll live or die. But this we do know: everything is ordered and secure. You arrange everything with wisdom that never makes mistakes and love that has no limits, because you, our God, are love. Help us see your hand in everything. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Is not my house right with God? For He has established with me an everlasting covenant, ordered and secured in every part. Will He not bring about my full salvation and my every desire?

2 Samuel 23:5 (BSB)
