Fruitful in good works

A young fruit tree heavy with ripe apples, each one tied gently to its branch with a thin thread leading back down to its own roots, showing fruit grown from staying connected.

Father in heaven, help us trust you so faithfully, and love one another so warmly, always living in awe of you and obeying your holy law and good will, that we bear the fruit of every good work. Let us live in a way that pleases you in this passing world. And after this short, fragile life, let us receive the true life that never ends, where you live and reign forever. Amen.

And this is His commandment: that we should believe in the name of His Son, Jesus Christ, and we should love one another just as He commanded us.
