Morning prayer · 21 February

Jesus, shelter me

A small bird tucked safely under the curve of a large wing, drawn simply to show shelter sought at the start of the day, with the words “jesus, shelter me” lettered by hand.

Today I come to the Father. Today I come to the Son. I come to the Holy Spirit in his power. Today I come with God. Today I come with Christ. I come with the Spirit, kind and healing. God and Spirit and Jesus, from the top of my head to the soles of my feet, I come with my good name. I come with all I’ve said of you. I come to you, Jesus. Jesus, shelter me. Amen.

Let me dwell in Your tent forever and take refuge in the shelter of Your wings. Selah
