Our daily companion

Two sets of footprints walking side by side along a winding path from dawn to dusk, one slightly smaller as if a companion walks close.

Lord our God, thank you with all our hearts for your great goodness to us. In your mercy, help each of us in every task we have to do. Please be our companion every day, from morning to night and night to morning, so that we love being with you and walk with you wide awake. Keep us from wrong turns and hard times, so we can serve you gladly, in quiet goodness. And give us your peace all the days of our life. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

He has shown you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?

Micah 6:8 (BSB)
