Morning prayer · 5 January

Begun, continued, ended

A single footpath winding from a planted sapling at the start to a full blossoming tree at the end, showing a journey begun and finished.

Lord, go ahead of us in everything we do with your loving kindness, and keep helping us all the way. In all our work, begun, carried on and finished in you, may we bring glory to your holy name. And in the end, by your mercy, bring us to the life that lasts forever. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Commit your works to the LORD and your plans will be achieved.
