Head among the stars

A pair of dusty boots walking a plain dirt road while the figure's head is drawn up among a small cluster of stars, feet and sky both present at once, with the words “head among the stars” lettered by hand.

Lord, the dull sameness of life is so hard to bear sometimes! Help me bear it. Even if a day comes when all the joy of living seems gone, and the green earth turns to ashes under my feet, help me look up to the heaven that’s always blue, and keep going. I’ll lift my eyes to the hills, and even above the hills, to where my help comes from. Though my feet walk the dusty road, may my head be among the stars. Amen.

My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.

Psalm 121:2 (BSB)
