Pardon and peace

A simple washing bowl with a cloth draped over its edge, clean water still rippling from a hand just lifted out of it.

Merciful Lord, please give your faithful people forgiveness and peace. Wash us clean from all our sins, and help us serve you with a quiet mind. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
