Morning prayer · 27 May
Brought to this hour

Lord our God and Father, we thank you again and again, in every way, at every time, in every place. You’ve sheltered us, helped us, held us up and led us all our life so far, and brought us to this hour. Good and loving God, help us live this day, and all our life, without sin, joyful and well, holy and in awe of you. Drive away from us, and from your Church, all envy, fear, temptation and every work of Satan. Give us what is good for us. Wherever we’ve wronged you, in word, action or thought, in your love let it pass. Don’t leave us, God; we hope in you. Don’t lead us into temptation, but rescue us from the evil one, through your only Son. Amen.
always giving thanks to God the Father for everything in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
