Sea of your love

A single small spring bubbling up from the ground and branching into several little streams that water different cupped leaves nearby, showing one source of love flowing out into many distinct blessings.

God, you are the deep, endless ocean of peace, a sea of love too great for words, the spring every blessing flows from, and the giver of all love between us. You send peace to everyone who will receive it. Open the sea of your love to us today. Water us with full streams from the riches of your grace, and from the sweetest springs of your kindness. Make us children of quietness and heirs of peace. Light the fire of your love in us. Plant in us a holy awe of you. Strengthen our weakness with your power. Bind us closely to you and to each other, in one firm bond that can’t be broken. Amen.

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, for to this you were called as members of one body. And be thankful.
