Much to do

Lord, my Maker and Protector, you sent me into this world to live out the salvation you give. Help me drive away the restless, confusing thoughts that could mislead me or keep me from doing what you ask. When I look at your works and how you guide the world, help me remember that your thoughts aren’t my thoughts, or your ways my ways. While I’m in this world, where there’s much to do and little to know, teach me by your Holy Spirit to turn my mind from useless and dangerous questions. Let me be glad in the light you’ve given me. Let me serve you eagerly and with humble confidence, and wait patiently for the day my soul is with you and fully satisfied. For Jesus’ sake. Amen.
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways,” declares the LORD.
