Morning prayer · 20 October

When two or three gather

Three small stones placed close together in a circle on a tabletop, a single thread of smoke rising up from the middle where they meet, showing shared prayer lifting as one.

Almighty God, you’ve given us grace at this time to pray to you together, with one heart. You promise that when two or three gather in your name, you will give them what they ask. So now, Lord, answer the wishes and prayers of your people in the way that’s best for them. Give us in this world the knowledge of your truth, and in the world to come, life that never ends. Amen.

For where two or three gather together in My name, there am I with them.”

Matthew 18:20 (BSB)
