Morning prayer · 20 September

My weak heart

A small wilted seedling in a pot is being watered by a hand pouring from a watering can shaped like a heart, with the seedling already perking upward at the first drops.

Lord, I lay my weak heart before you. You fill it with good desires, but you know I can’t carry them out unless you bless them and make them grow. So, loving Father, I ask you to help me, through everything your dear Son did and suffered for me. I want to give this day and my whole life to his glory. Amen.

May He give you the desires of your heart and make all your plans succeed.
