My father was Eliam, and I was married to Uriah the Hittite, one of the king’s soldiers. The king saw me from his roof and sent for me. Later I was queen mother. The Bible tells my story plainly. So do I.

Went in to the king in his bedroom. Reminded him he swore to me by the LORD that my son Solomon would be king after him. And now Adonijah has made himself king and he doesn’t even know.
