In charge of the temple.
The senior priests who run the temple in Jerusalem, and the elders who lead the people alongside us. The high priest, Caiaphas, is one of us. Order in the temple is our responsibility. This Galilean overturning tables in it is a problem.

We have a law, and according to that law he must die. He claimed to be the Son of God.
