Mary’s just come in with a jar of perfume. Pure nard, about a pint. She’s poured it on his feet and she’s wiping them with her hair. The whole house is full of the smell.

Had a seat at the table.
I was at the dinner given for Jesus in Bethany, six days before Passover. Martha served. Lazarus was at the table. I saw everything that happened that night.

One of his twelve isn’t happy about it. Judas. Says it could have been sold for three hundred denarii and the money given to the poor. That’s about a year’s wages.

Then he said we’ll always have the poor with us, but we won’t always have him. Not sure what to make of that.
