I felt obliged to point out that when he speaks about the Pharisees in that way, he insults us experts in the law as well.

An expert in the law, at a Pharisee’s house for dinner the day Jesus didn’t wash before the meal. When he started on the Pharisees, I pointed out that we were sitting right there.
