Not trying to start anything, but it keeps happening: our widows get missed in the daily food share. The widows who speak Aramaic don’t.

Saying what needs saying.
A Jewish follower of Jesus in Jerusalem who grew up speaking Greek, not Aramaic. There are a lot of us in the church now.

Not trying to start anything. But our widows keep getting missed in the daily food share. The ones from families like mine, who grew up abroad speaking Greek. The Aramaic-speaking widows don’t get missed.

He was one of the seven chosen to sort out the food for our widows.
Out of Jerusalem now. Same answer, though.
Peter and I gave them the same answer. You decide whether God wants us listening to you or to him. We can’t stop talking about what we’ve seen and heard.Replying to @jerusalem.local
It’s why most of us have gone. Judea, Samaria, anywhere. The apostles are the only ones still in the city.

Son of Encouragement. Living up to the name.
Stephen asked God not to hold it against them. One of the men standing there that day is preaching Jesus now.
Stephen prayed, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.” Then he went down on his knees and asked the Lord not to hold this sin against them. And then he died.Replying to @jerusalem.believer
That’s how it started with Stephen.
