Gold, bronze, yarn, stone. Give me the design.

Craftsman from Tyre. My mother was a widow from Israel, from Naphtali by one account and Dan by another; my father was a man of Tyre and a bronze worker. King Hiram sent me to Solomon, and I cast the bronze for the temple.

Solomon sent to Tyre for me. My mother’s a widow from Naphtali, my father was a bronze worker from Tyre. Cast two bronze pillars for the temple porch, eighteen cubits tall, about eight metres, lily-shaped tops, two hundred bronze pomegranates round each. Named them too. Jachin, he establishes. Boaz, in him is strength.

Then the Sea: a huge round bronze basin standing on twelve bronze oxen, three facing each way. So much bronze went into all of it that Solomon never had it weighed.

Everything I made for the king for the house of the LORD: polished bronze. Cast in clay moulds down in the Jordan plain. So much bronze nobody could weigh it. Proper job, if I say so myself.
