Two days to get ready. Everyone’s washing their clothes. There’s a boundary round the mountain and nobody’s to touch even the edge of it. On the third day the LORD comes down on Sinai, in front of all of us.

I see a lot from my tent door.
Came out of Egypt with everyone else. Camped at the foot of Sinai while Moses was up the mountain. I was there when the gold came off, and I saw what came out of the fire.

Aaron asked for everyone’s gold earrings. Now there’s a calf. He’s built an altar in front of it and says tomorrow is a festival to the LORD.

Every time he walks out there we stand at our tent doors and watch. When the cloud comes down, we worship where we stand.
