That’s my nephew, Joash, my brother Ahaziah’s son. When Athaliah took the throne, I took him and his nurse and hid them in a bedroom. He’s been hidden in the house of the LORD for six years.
Jehoiada the priest has guards all round the temple, weapons in their hands, from one side to the other. Then he brings out a little boy, puts the crown on him, hands him the law, and they anoint him. Everyone’s clapping. Long live the king! He’s seven.

Hid the baby. Six years.
Daughter of King Joram, sister of King Ahaziah of Judah, wife of Jehoiada the priest. Kings calls me Jehosheba; Chronicles, Jehoshabeath. When Athaliah took the throne, I took my baby nephew and hid him.

That little king is my nephew Joash. When Athaliah was destroying the royal family, I took him, a baby, from among the king’s sons, and hid him and his nurse in a bedroom. Jehoiada and I kept him hidden in the house of God for six years.
Running feet and cheering at the temple. Jehoiada and his sons brought out the king’s son, put the crown on him and anointed him. Long live the king! Trumpets, singers, the whole land celebrating. He’s seven.
