Followers of John the Baptist.
We followed John the Baptist out in the desert: we fasted, we prayed, we turned back to God. When John was in prison, he sent us to Jesus with a question. When John was killed, we buried him and went and told Jesus.

John's in prison, and he sent two of us with one question: are you the one who's coming, or do we wait for someone else? His answer: tell John what you've seen. The blind see. The lame walk. The dead are raised. The poor hear good news.
We buried John. Herod had him killed in prison. We’ve gone to tell Jesus.
