I sit on the council. For what it’s worth, I never agreed to what they did to him.

We wrapped him in linen with the spices. There’s a garden near where he was crucified, with a new tomb cut in the rock. Mine. Nobody’s ever been buried in it. It’s close, and the Sabbath’s about to start, so we put him there and rolled a big stone across the entrance.
