Some of us leaders stood up to the soldiers: you’re not bringing them in here. We have enough guilt already. So they left the captives and the plunder with us. We clothed them from the plunder, gave them sandals, food and drink, put oil on their wounds, sat the weak ones on donkeys, and took them all back to their own people at Jericho, the City of Palms.
