Couldn't have children. A man of God came and told me I'll have a son. No razor on his head, ever. He'll start to save Israel from the Philistines.

He came to me first. Twice.
Married to Manoah of Zorah. For years I couldn't have children. Then the angel of the LORD came and talked to me in the field, and came back to me there again. When my husband thought we'd die for seeing him, I didn't. The Bible never gives my name. I'm Samson's mother.

Had my son. We've called him Samson. He's growing, and the LORD is blessing him.
