Some news. Judas’s place needed filling. It had to be someone who’d been with Jesus the whole way, from John’s baptisms to the day he was taken up. They prayed and drew lots, and it fell to me. I’m one of the Twelve now.

I followed Jesus the whole way, from John’s baptisms to the day he was taken up. When Judas was gone, the apostles needed someone to take his place as a witness that Jesus rose from the dead. It came down to me and Joseph Barsabbas. It came to me.
