My view, since the king asked. The queen hasn't just wronged the king. She's wronged every official and every people in the empire. When women hear about this they'll look down on their husbands. They'll say the king sent for Queen Vashti and she didn't come. So: a royal decree, written into the laws of Persia and Media so it can never be undone. Vashti never comes before the king again, and her position goes to someone better.

One of the king’s seven princes. Has a view on wives.
One of the seven princes of Persia and Media with personal access to the king. Expert in law. When the queen refused the king, I was the one who told him what to do about it.

Kindly note my view, since the king asked. The queen has wronged not only the king but every prince and every people in every province. Once the women hear of this, they will look down on their husbands.

My proposal. A royal decree, entered into the laws of Persia and Media so that it can never be changed. Vashti is never to come before the king again, and her position goes to someone better. Every wife in the empire, high or low, will then respect her husband.
Can never be changed. As I believe I said.
