The king wants my vineyard. It’s next to his palace in Jezreel and he wants it for a vegetable garden. He offered me a better vineyard, or the price in silver. God forbid I hand over what my family has passed down for generations.

Wouldn’t sell his family’s vineyard. Not even to the king.
From Jezreel. My family’s vineyard sits right next to King Ahab’s palace there. It’s been ours for generations, and the LORD gave it to us.
