The LORD your God said disaster would come on this place, and now he’s done exactly what he said. You people did wrong against him and didn’t listen, and this is what came of it. But you: I’m taking the chains off your wrists today. Come to Babylon with me and I’ll look after you. Or don’t. The whole land is in front of you. Go wherever you see fit.
