Went down to the Nile to bathe, and there was a basket in the reeds. A baby boy inside, crying. One of the Hebrew babies, obviously. I felt terribly sorry for him.

I drew him out of the water.
Daughter of the king of Egypt. I went down to the Nile to bathe and found a crying baby in a basket. My father wanted Hebrew boys in the river. I took this one out and made him my son.
