Brought my father’s sheep to the well, and a stranger rolled the stone off by himself and watered our whole flock. Then he kissed me and burst into tears. Turns out he’s my cousin.

Laban’s younger daughter, from Haran. I looked after my father’s sheep. Jacob met me at the well, rolled the stone away on his own, and kissed me and cried. He worked seven years for me, and got my sister first. I waited years for a child of my own. Mother of Joseph and Benjamin.
