He told me everything I ever did.

I’m a Samaritan, from Sychar. Jews and Samaritans don’t get on. They don’t share cups, they don’t talk. So when a Jewish man at Jacob’s well asked me for a drink in the middle of the day, I asked him why. Then he told me everything I ever did.

  • Leaving her water jar and telling the whole town (John 4:28–29)
  • Many Samaritans believing because of what she said (John 4:39)

Okay, so a Jewish man just asked me for a drink. Jews don't even share cups with Samaritans.

He told me to go get my husband. I said I don't have one. He said, that's right, you don't. He knew about the five husbands. And about the man I'm with now, who isn't my husband.

Told him the Messiah will explain everything when he comes. He said, “That's me. I'm the one talking to you.”

Come and see a man who told me everything I ever did. Could this be the Christ?
